What is ELEVI

ELEVI is a curated digital cinema dedicated exclusively to short film. Not a streaming platform. Not a festival database. Not an archive. A living programme, edited by people, updated by season, built around the belief that short cinema is one of the most demanding and most overlooked forms of filmmaking alive today.

Why we built it

We built ELEVI because we needed it ourselves.

As filmmakers, we spent years making short films that finished their festival run and then disappeared.

Not because they were forgotten, but because there was nowhere serious for them to go.

1. The major platforms weren't built for them.

2. The algorithms weren't designed to surface them.

3. The audiences who would have cared never had the chance to find them.

We watched work that took months, sometimes years, of precision, sacrifice, and craft dissolve into the noise of the internet without ceremony and without return.

ELEVI is our answer to that silence.

What problem we are solving

Short film has a structural problem: the infrastructure of digital cinema was built for features, series, and content volume. The short film, which demands as much from its maker as anything twice its length, has no serious home online.

No curated shelf.

No trusted address.

The result is a permanent mismatch: serious films and serious viewers who cannot find each other, separated by platforms designed for something else entirely.

ELEVI closes that gap.

Every title in our programme was selected by a human being who watched it with full attention.

Every collection is composed with a point of view.

Every filmmaker who appears here was chosen and not uploaded.

Who this is for

ELEVI is for the viewer who watches with their full attention and finds most of what the internet offers unworthy of it.

It is for the cinephile who believes that twelve minutes can be as complete, as devastating, and as necessary as two hours, and who wants a place that reflects that conviction.

It is not for everyone. It was never intended to be.
